RISE AND SHINE!

Introducing "DAYBREAK", a refreshing return to upbeat uptempo! This one sounds similar to Enjoy the Ride - and this penguin is definitely enjoying their ride!

Daybreak was created on the 10th day of September 2017 - my most creative month ever, with 9 tracks being made during that time.

Like most of my tracks, it started with me being bored messing around with notes in GarageBand. It started with me aimlessly typing a melody with a sleepy-sounding pad I made for another track called "Early Riser" - this pad elicits images of the sun beginning to rise. It was originally called "Good Morning", until recently when I renamed it "Daybreak" since it sounds cooler.

Similarly, when I typed this random melody, the first thing which came to mind was someone riding a bicycle down the coast during sunrise, hence the cover art!

I believe releasing this now has confirmed to me that, despite my music sounding very eclectic, my "signature sound" is this type of upbeat uptempo music, while my visual identity are these types of cartoon animals I create for the cover arts.

FUN FACT: The coastline pictured here is in Rockingham, a suburb of Western Australia. The island in the background is Penguin Island, hence it makes sense for the cover art's character to be a penguin!

The quokka in this cover art is a LOT more hidden than in my previous tracks' cover arts...can you find it in this one?
