🦊 WHAT IS GLHF? 🦊

GLHF is an e-sports group of three fox characters:

#6 = OpDaMyZr! The top speedrunner who likes to go HASTY HASTY HASTY HASTY in games, using his glitchnastics (glitch gymnastics) skills to glitch through walls and exploiting game code with obscure movesets and other techniques others would never think of!

#15 = Strattzr! He enjoys strategising and will kick your ass in chess. Like OpDaMyZr, Strattzr often comes up with moves so well thought-out it catches everyone off guard! He loves big data and is always many moves ahead!

#24 = PWNZR! He's the warlord of GLHF, an unashamed, foul-mouthed angry gamer who enjoys utterly pwn his enemies in first-person shooters and other fighting games! While controversial for rage-quitting, he's spreading his wings of redemption and trying to be a good model, if he isn't fighting with OpDaMyZr...

GLHF soundtracks their adventures in a digital-only, 18-track multi-genre electronic music album that released to all online stores and streaming services on Saturday, 6-15-24, the same numbers shown on the GLHF Foxes' headsets AND when the numbers are converted to letters, spell F-O-X!

The GLHF Album contains 18 tracks:

β€’ 6 released along with this album to celebrate its release (ROFLSTOMP, Rage Quit, Glitchnastics, Endgame, FvF, and FOXR Sleep Mode)

In MOULE WORLD, the number 6 is revered in the culture of the Foxes as, like I've mentioned above, F = 6, O = 15 (1+5=6), and X = 24 (2+4=6). OpDaMyZr, who stars in the middle of the cover art, is the top performer in GLHF and thus proudly wears the number 6 on his headset!

🦊 GLHF'S GENRES AND STYLES 🦊

The tracks in GLHF were created as far as December 2015 (when I was still figuring out how to make music in GarageBand) to being mastered as recently as January 2024, and were worked on sporadically between those dates, though they were mostly worked on in December 2023 to take advantage of the holiday time off before the New Year began. They mostly had different titles and were never intended to be part of this album (some were even repurposed for it!), showcasing how much my music production has changed over time.

Establishing an overall theme from little tidbits, strategies, and technologies GLHF use to the war between OpDaMyZr and PWNZR, this track goes through numerous house sub-genres, glitch hop, acid music, drum and bass, happy hardcore, creepy ambient, glitchcore, and even extratone, an extreme subgenre of speedcore with 1000 BPM tempos or above. I even got into making my own metal music for this album, though made entirely in Logic Pro (or pre-2023, GarageBand).

Given the tense dynamics of GLHF and my ongoing refusal to market myself under one genre, I believe the changes from calm to extreme music are appropriate for the GLHF Album!

The GLHF album is my first concept album and the first to explicitly soundtrack a part of my ongoing worldbuilding project "MOULE WORLD".
