This track was originally planned to be built on a track I made years ago, but instead I went with working from a copy of Lampy's project file, since this track takes place directly after CTRL discovers Lampy who unveils The Labyrinth to them: a network of addresses on Big Crypto's closed-source, heavily-controlled blockchain.

My aim was for this track to be strictly hard techno only with atmospheric elements, but a subdued acid arp I added gave this track a cool psytrance feel I just couldn't let go of. It adds to this track's urgent, mystic sort of feel to it as CTRL uncover just how vast the Labyrinth is.

Some rapid-fire acid squelching sounds were intended as well, but the subdued acid arp sounded really cool and adding more to that would make this track more busier than it is. Also, there's two beats: Hard Bass House (the clear one) and a distorted bass drum that can be heard shortly after each beat – they're not the same drum. I'm especially proud of my mastering in this one!

This track was heavily inspired by D-Noiser and Michael Da Brain, musicians who made the acid hard techno tracks for the final races of Midnight Club II. The psytrance elements were inspired a lot by the tracks from @sat2199's 2015 Goa Trance Mix that I often play when working out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-cjSMcZp5E
