Introducing my 29th release and 125th track: Dark Forest.

I am trying something new behind the scenes: making ambient electronic soundscapes. Following the release of my first soundscape release "Surreality", comes this longer, more listen-to-able track.

I have a love for forest environments, forest flora, and forest animals, as well as an appreciation for the mystical, so naturally I was attracted to the idea of making an ambient soundscape thing dedicated to them. I believe I did really well in making this track, particularly towards the end with balancing out the sounds' volumes.

The term "Dark Forest" also appears in Brian Jacques' fantasy novel Redwall, where it's described as a mysterious place animals go to after they die. When I first read about it, this was the soundscape I had playing in my head and I knew I had to go make it.

I'm so happy with how Dark Forest turned out. It's another one which accurately captures my ever-changing personality in a musical way, like Yggdrasil Fall did. I find it hard to express myself, so making this was quite an achievement.
