Happy Leap Day!! Today, we celebrate the date that only occurs once every 4 years: February 29. To celebrate this rare date, today I present this special track called Leaper!

Originally called "Rebounce", Leaper is another recent track of mine. It was created on December 24, 2019, but I only released it today to celebrate Leap Day. I named it "Rebounce" initially because when I listened to it, it sounded "bouncy" to me. I wanted to get out of my chair and dance! I released a jumpy track on a day called "leap day" so I thought that was appropriate.

As for how I made this track, it was the same as usual! I start with a melody, then I added drums, then snares, then hi-hats, then bass...etc. You can hear this "order" play one after another in the beginning of this track. Genre-wise, I'm confident this would be called "future beat" or "future house" music.

Having the same melody played on multiple octaves was the third-best thing I did for this track! The second was the compression at the track's bridge section, and the first was the snare, the latter making this one of my most catchiest tracks in my opinion.
